MDI Group has assisted Clinic Africa develop two clinics in rural Uganda.
Clinic Africa is a UK based charity which aims to:

• provide access to healthcare for deprived (particularly deep rural) communities in Africa



• provide attractive employment to locally trained clinicians to persuade them to stay in their ‘home’ countries



• provide training and franchise-like business systems to build entrepreneurial skills in the health sector. 

Clinic Africa is a young charity which was set up in 2005 and sets up clinic networks across Sub Saharan Africa.  Its first operations are in Uganda, where it operates 5 primary care clinics: 2 are in slums outside Kampala and 3 are in deep rural locations near the border with Rwanda and Tanzania.
