Services - Ultrasound
Ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves to construct images of internal organs and other fluid-filled structures inside the body. Simple and painless, it is used to assess foetal development, detect organ abnormalities and tumours, and to examine the functioning of blood vessels and arteries. When moved across the skin, the special probe emits high-frequency sounds that are inaudible. |
