MDI brings together a wide variety of imaging modalities primarily for assisting patients diagnose symptomatic problems.
Some patients and doctors, however, may want to use the same advanced resources to use the imaging to screen for various diseases.
Our Centres are superbly equipped to screen for conditions and risk-factors for the three main killers in the UK:
- Cardiovascular Diseases (e.g. “Heart Attack”)
- Cerebrovascular Diseases (e.g. Stroke)
- Cancer
The equipment is also useful for screening for other conditions (e.g. Osteoporosis)
